History That Endures
The investor acquired the site of a disused vodka factory in Kraków, which included several 19th-century buildings. From the very beginning, the goal was to preserve the valuable historic structures and integrate their identity into contemporary architecture—an approach shared by both the investor and the planning team from the outset. Since the site is a designated historic landmark, the planning process began in close coordination with Kraków’s historic preservation authorities. The site’s industrial history remains tangible to this day through the preserved original structural grids and their material expressiveness. New additions are clearly recognizable as such and enter into a deliberate dialogue with the existing structures—creating an ensemble that carries its history without remaining stuck in the past.

An Urban Quarter for Work and More
The Fabryczna Office Park is part of the overarching Fabryczna City concept, which encompasses the revitalization of the entire former Polmos site. The result is a complex of high-quality office and service spaces in three sections (B1, B2, and B3) with a two-story underground parking garage. WTogether with hotels, restaurants, sports facilities, and residential spaces in historic buildings, the new office park blends into a thoughtfully designed urban neighborhood that combines work and everyday life in one place—one of the first projects of its kind in Kraków.

Most of the design solutions are based on the requirements for BREEAM certification at the “Excellent” level—where high design quality and environmental responsibility go hand in hand.
