Site Identity

AMS Microchip Plant

In just 11 months of construction, a microchip plant with an attached office building was built in the greater Graz area. We took new paths, both conceptually and in terms of the chosen planning process (Design-Build-Project).

All functional and production areas are combined by a silver dynamic cladding element, whose significant form has become the new identifier for the entire site. A structural special feature: The roof assembly was completed up to a watertight roof using large wooden panel elements (l x w = 14.5 x 2.5 m) in just two weeks.
